As you would expect from a new boutique hotel, the bedrooms are contemporary with a traditional twist. We’ve taken inspiration from this beautiful historic neighbourhood with three unique room designs – Material Layers, highlighting the architecture of the City; The Eastgate Clock featuring nods to the famous clock and its designer John Douglas; and Racecourse rooms paying homage to the UK’s oldest racecourse.

All rooms come with luxury Hypnos beds, spa-inspired bathrooms with rainfall showers, premium toiletries by Molton Brown, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and a variety of channels on your 46” flat screen TV with built-in Chromecast.

The Forge is a the latest in a group of extraordinary restaurant and dining experiences by restaurateur and chef Mike Robinson. Continuing Mike’s passion for wild, sustainable British ingredients, and his love of simple cooking over fire and charcoal, The Forge has its kitchen front and centre in the middle of the lovely, elegant space. Incredible dry aged beef and wild venison will be found in the maturation cabinets, awaiting their turn on the amazing forge grill, there to be lovingly grilled and roasted over oak and beech logs.

The Brief

Castlebridge contacted Siemlus to discuss and take over all support and technology aspects from a previous supplier for this hotel having supporting and installing in numerous Castlebridge properties in the past.

Siemlus knew and understood that this would be a big task taking over from another supplier. However, the Siemlus team had knowledge of this new build and all IT aspects of the building making this a seamless experience for not only the client but the guests too.

Our Approach

Due to the fact that the hotel was still open during the takeover, this was a huge task for Siemlus, and we were eager to demonstrate our skills and abilities on.  From keeping the hotelier informed throughout this takeover to working with other contractors and suppliers, the team managed to make this a seamless experience for the client by not disrupting the day to day operation of the hotel and its guests.

The Delivery

Discovery

We worked closely with owners, operators, designers, electrical contrators, main contractors and more, to supply and offer our services and expertise.

Technology

Even with a few other technology companies providing telecoms, IT and more, by the time the hotel was open a year.

Support

One of the key objectives which was achieved was the ability for Siemlus to completely take over, manage, and support every single data and technology element for this property, something we believe is a first in the industry.

“Siemlus are the key technology provider for this hotel installation and for group-wide support and we are very proud to have Siemlus as Castlebridge hospitality’s preferred technology services partner.
