Sundown Adventure Land & Wild Acre Village
Sundown Adventureland is a children's theme park in Rampton, Nottinghamshire, UK. It originally opened as a farmyard in back in 1968 however, is now home to over 20 rides and attractions.
As part of a big push to enhance the guest experience they introduced Wild Acre Village a family friendly cabin retreat on the parks grounds. Wild Acre Village at Sundown Adventureland is an outstanding new addition to the Bouja Boutique Break Collection with Hoseason’s for 2022
Designed with families small and large in mind, each cabin provides a themed holiday experience aimed towards younger children (under 10’s). The single cabins sleep five people with a king-size bedroom for the adults and triple bunk beds for the kids. The double cabins, which can comfortably accommodate ten people, are ideal for multiple generations wishing to holiday together separated by interconnecting doors, the double cabins provide two individual units offering the best of both worlds in closeness and privacy.

IT For the theme park and Wild Acre
The Brief
The key objectives for this project, was to offer the owners, project management team a company who could design, manage, supply, install and support the full technology wrap for this project.
Not only were Siemlus asked to supply install and support Wild Acre Village but were also asked to design, Install, manage and support the IT in the theme park.
Our Approach
This was a huge task for Siemlus and one we were keen to show our expertise and skills. From working with all contractors, designers and operators, such as the lodge team, to planning dedicated fibre to the property and running all infrastructure data and RF TV cabling to the pods and cab points Siemlus were there from the beginning to help design, build, procure, install, manage and support the client throughout the process.

We worked closely with owners, operators, designers, electrical contrators, main contractors and more, to supply and offer our services and expertise.
Technology
Even with a few other technology companies providing telecoms, IT and more, by the time the hotel was open a year.
Support
One of the key objectives which was achieved was the ability for Siemlus to completely take over, manage, and support every single data and technology element for this property, something we believe is a first in the industry.
