The Brief
The Siemlus team were approached by the team at Ohana Mua to design, procure, Install, manage & support various technology solutions throughout the property.
Ohana Mua, a luxury holiday retreat in Cornwall, partnered with Siemlus to deliver a fully integrated technology solution for their flagship development, The Vale. They needed a partner to manage every stage—from design and procurement to installation and ongoing support—ensuring a seamless guest journey and operational efficiency. Siemlus provided the infrastructure and smart systems behind the scenes and in the guest lodges, including door access control, Wi-Fi, IPTV with casting, and in-room environmental controls. The result is a modern, connected retreat that reflects Ohana Mua’s vision of reimagined holiday home ownership. With the launch of their new MirrorGlass Lodges this summer, Ohana Mua continues to set new standards in design-led, tech-enabled living.
As part of the refurbishment and to recognise the Ohana Mua brand Siemlus recommended the Hoteza Hotel IPTV system understanding the growing demand of in-room entertainment for family stays Ohana’s TV outlines everything a guest will need throughout their stay. With the flexibility and option in the future Ohana Mua can integrate the TV with their guest room management system Roomio allowing guests to control the temperature of their room, lighting and curtains all through their TV as well as the glass keypad installed.

Our Approach
For the Ohana Mua project, Siemlus delivered a fully integrated, end-to-end service—covering design, build, procurement, installation, management, and ongoing support. Our approach was centered on creating a seamless, modern guest journey from the moment of arrival through to every in-lodge interaction.
We implemented a range of smart technology solutions, including administrative IT infrastructure, barrier control with number plate recognition, secure door access systems, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, Hoteza TV & Cast, and a guest room management system that gives guests full control over their lodge environment.
Together, these technologies were thoughtfully selected and implemented to enhance comfort, streamline operations, and provide a consistent, high-quality experience across the entire retreat.
The Delivery
Design
Siemlus meticulously designed the interface for Ohana Mua’s IPTV system, along with the Roomio control panel that enables guests to easily manage their in-room environment. In addition, Siemlus developed a tailored technology plan to ensure seamless integration and consistent delivery of smart solutions across the entire retreat.
Procure
Siemlus expertly handled procurement, sourcing trusted partners and solutions for door access control, barrier systems, Wi-Fi, Hotel IPTV with casting, and the guest room management system. Our careful selection ensured the lodge was equipped with high-quality, reliable technology throughout.
Install
we delivered first and second fix installations for structured cabling and IT infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, Hoteza HSIA, Hoteza TV & Cast, and the Roomio guest room management system—bringing the design to life with a fully integrated and guest-focused technology solution.
Manage/ Support
Siemlus Connect, an all-encompassing support system, was deployed to uphold the continuous smooth operation of all technological aspects. This proactive strategy ensures that the technological infrastructure of Ohana Mua remains dependable and current.
What next for Ohana?
Following the successful opening of The Vale in Cornwall, Ohana Mua has announced the exciting launch of their latest innovation: the MirrorGlass Lodges, arriving this summer.
Designed entirely in-house, these exclusive lodges represent a bold new concept in design-led holiday home ownership—blending architectural elegance, a deep connection to nature, and spaces made for meaningful moments with loved ones. The MirrorGlass Lodge reimagines what it means to own a holiday home, offering a private, elevated retreat for those seeking lasting memories in Cornwall’s natural surroundings.
